NAMI Keystone Pennsylvania Signs Coalition Letters Opposing HB 335, SB 268 This month, NAMI Keystone Pennsylvania, along with more than a dozen other advocacy organizations, signed letters opposing House Bill 335 and Senate Bill 268, which both call for eliminating Behavioral HealthChoices (BHC), also known as the "carve-out." Behavioral HealthChoices is the statewide program through which every county delivers mental health and drug & alcohol services to vulnerable Pennsylvanians enrolled in the Medical Assistance program, and their families. BHC was created 21 years ago and has enjoyed strong bipartisan support. Preserving BHC means more Pennsylvanians seeking behavioral and drug and alcohol healthcare will receive the services they need. Please contact your state legislator and ask them to oppose House Bill 335 and Senate Bill 268. Read the HB 335 Opposition Letter Read the SB 268 Opposition Letter |
