Registration for Spring 2020 NAMI Peer-to-Peer Class
When: Mondays from 6:00-8:00p.m. beginning on March 16 and ending April 27

What is NAMI Peer-to-Peer? NAMI Peer-to-Peer is a free course for adults living with mental health challenges. The 7-week class provides an educational setting focused on recovery that offers respect, understanding, encouragement, and confidence.
NAMI Peer-to-Peer course seeks to meet the following goals:
- Create a community to aid in the recovery process.
- Provide up-to-date research on brain biology and mental illnesses.
- Provide the most current information on the possibilities for living in recovery including treatment strategies currently available.
- Teach skills in the areas of problem solving, listening, communication techniques, and handling crises and relapse.
- Provide guidance on locating appropriate supports and services within the community and offer tips of advocating for those supports and services.
Please Note: We ask that no registration be entered on behalf of someone without the express consent and permission of that person. Registrants will be contacted prior to the class. Registrants must be 18 years of age or older and be living with or previously lived with a mental health diagnosis.
